Camtasia – Capture Your Screen!

Recently, I’ve been testing a software called Camtasia that allows you to capture what’s on your screen as a video which you can then edit.  A simple example of this (minus the intro clip, which was made with a free educator’s license of Animoto.com) can be seen at the post of Julie Walsh’s technology presentation.

Here’s the blurb on Camtasia from their website: “Record onscreen activity. Edit it into a polished video. Share with the world. Camtasia Studio makes you look like a pro.”

They’re claim is pretty accurate.  The best part is you can try it free for thirty days.  Email me at wkriesel@fuhsd.net if you want to find out more about how you might use Camtasia for learning.
