Overview:

In this session we will introduce the benefits of working to the Education Framework for IT Support (EdFITS) within your School / Trust.

Originally developed by BECTA and based on the wider ITIL framework, EdFITS can shape both the day to day and strategic management of the IT services, resources and training.

EdFITS can support all models of IT and all sizes of school and we will cover how it can be used to bring order to both in-house teams and help develop ways of working with external support partners and MSP's.

- Release Management
- Availability and Capacity Management

- Service Continuity Management

This course is relevant to anyone who has any responsibility for IT within the organisation and will particularly benefit Technical staff and SLT members including SBM's / SBL's / CFO's / COO's
